  Disgraceful.......... 2010-02-24 22:39:22

A cracking CCL fixture should have taken place on Sunday Feb 7th, bringing together a fairly relevant clash.. Two "footballing" sides of real quality, NASA's 'Adventurers' & Central Heaton's 'BoilerMen' should have locked horns *(weather permitting) on the plush lawns of Bullocksteads, Kenton Bar, in the "bread and butter" task of trying to collect highly valued league points..

Having met 3 times already this season NASA held a slender 2-1 win tally, however previous form not withstanding the game could have been another great advert for the quality of the 5th season CCL.. Sadly with all matches called off at Kenton bar and hastened attempts to help the league assuage a growing fixture nightmare resulting in a switch to an emergency venue, due to reason's normally best left unsaid, NASA were then cruelly "shafted"..

A situation quickly ensued perhaps aptly described as "due to circumstances beyond our control", ignorance, utter disrespect, a great lack of understanding, stupidity and dare I say it some absolutely disgraceful behaviour towards the only predominantly "multi-cultural, mixed" team in that league and one of the "founders" of such an innovative, forward thinking programme..

First the attending match official, who had quite obviously been "got at" by sections of the opposition, followed by 2 or 3 hugely outspoken Heaton players, blatantly attempted to influence the result and hand a vital 3 league points, undeservedly and by default to the opposition!!

Those "ignorant" persons then quickly waded in with deeply insulting and highly personal attacks on NASA'S Manager (Akpofure) and his players.. Of course such shameful conduct and behaviour was brought about not just by fear of losing a tough testing match against quality opponents, but more likely by "non football reasons and a distinct lack of humanitarian respect" towards someone else's misfortune...

Hopefully they (Heaton) will now be able to rise up and show they are far better than that kind of conduct, realise their folly, being decent self-regarding human beings, turn up and display their true characters on the day of the re-arranged fixture and may the better team emerge victorious THE CORRECT AND PROPER WAY.. ON THE FIELD OF PLAY AND NOT BY COLLUDING WITH THE REFEREE IN A BLATANT MISGUIDED, UNDESERVED, ALBEIT ULTIMATELY FUTILE ATTEMPT TO STEAL ALL 3 POINTS BY DEFAULT.. Strong words of course but words NASA completely stand by, also witnessed by many honourable persons present on that day.. Time will tell of course.. Bring these big matches on and continue to watch this space.... Allez NASA!

With the CCLleague season hotting up as the exciting climax approaches NASA face a daunting battle, not just against some terrific competition and highly motivated teams but also alleged covert 'political skulduggery' on and off the park as well.. A number of teams and/or management bosses apparently are so keen to prevent their feared rivals title challenge from igniting, while 'feathering their own nests' that they have and still are resorting to tactics best described as 'spineless', 'underhand' and blatantly unsportsmanlike as they look to give themselves the best advantage possible of course while refuting others claims..

The old adage of 'fair play' and 'level playing field' which was guaranteed before NASA felt it was worth returning to the CCL now seems to have been thrown out the window, especially where players and in particular their outspoken' but fully knowledgeable Kingpin' are concerned...

Witch-hunt? As if... Nahhhhh... Not a chance in hell?? What's it all about then? Fear? Ignorance? Blatant discrimination?? Who knows apart from the one's that 'fit that particular cap'...

Will they succeed in their quest's? Only time will tell of course, but rest assured 'we will give it our very best shot'.. Their relentless and dare I say it 'completely disgraceful' conduct is myself and all my players inspiration... Bring it on y'all...

  NKF_Supreme Trophy(Final)_07-8

With the devastating semi-final result over league title favourites Fawdon Park still ringing out loud in the upper echelon's of the CCL, the scene was set for a major clash between (2006-7) Champs North Tyne. The "Ty-Ners" turned up for the big match with a powerful squad and band of supporters, looking for the chance of overturning the much disputed 2 legged CC league semi-final result by NASA, when accusation's of "ineligible" players took the gloss off a superb display by "Continental" to win the tie 5-1 on aggregate.

The game began somewhat cagily, but North Tyne took the lead against the run of play when Jean Claude Lua-lua put through his own net under pressure to great delight from the "Ty-Ners" travelling support. NASA soon found their form and a flowing move brought a tremendous strike from Ansah. (1-1) at half-time, saw the introduction of NASA star Dumbuya, bringing even more hostility (due to his sending off in an earlier league clash) amid accusation's of bias, cheating etc.. NASA then produced the devastating attacking play seen throughout the season to completely demoralise the opposition and run out emphatic (6-1) winners with strikes from Dumbuya, Oshin and Ansah completing his hat-trick! A great performance that set the seal on a magnificent season..

  NASA 7 - Fawdon 2
(Semi-Final) Cup-Tie..

Another devastating display by a virtually full strength NASA side, gunned down the cocky, confident title favourites Fawdon Park to secure the team's 1st ever Cup final appearance.. Both side's were close to fielding their strongest sides, with NASA missing the likes of Oshin, Alexandre-Joao Paulo, Teof Mateus & Westwater, while Fawdon had Darren "Dazzler" Brown, Chaytor and 1 other star out. With some previous "history" to dispose of, the excellent stewardship of Ref Young ensured the game passed without any major incident..

1st half strikes from Ben, Krumah & Dumbuya took "Continental" in 3-0 up at the break and further clinical finishing from Ansah and Diaby killed the game off well before the final whistle!

SCORERS: Beny Dumbuya 2, Krumah, og., Franky Ben, Ansah, Diaby

NASA 5 - CORNER HOUSE 1 - A scintillating 1st half display by "Continental" blew away the championship challenge of Newcastle's (Corner House) in a titanic "grudge" encounter. 2nd placed NASA simply had too much for a very strong House side and strikes from Keith "Simons" Stuart, Edison "Mballa" Nwufor and Louis Ansah, coupled by a double from hotshot forward Naby "Beny" Dumbuya completed the rout..

Brief account of the history of (NIFC) - Newcastle "International" Football Club.. The remarkable story of how the "vision", commitment and resource of regional "Community Champion", Owner; Manager & "Kingpin" OTT Akpofure and his select group of like minded, forward thinkers, enabled a group of disjointed, disorganised, albeit "highly talented" young "multi-cultural" players to take the considerable step up out of the back-drop of Sunday "Park football" and conduct a gloriously successful campaign in one of the region's foremost "Grassroots" league's.. Becoming a firm part of the area's football folklore..

NIFC_Newcastle "International" is a multi-functional North East based (NFP) organisation, with innovative, ambitious and committed long term aims of promotion, organisation and deliverance of "Special Events" throughout the local/regional area and beyond, Our primary theme's are Unity, Togetherness, Knowledge and furher Understanding both within and outside the borders of the regional north eastern communities.

NIFC plan to carry on the process which it began way back in 2000, of educating, integrating and addressing racial issues through sport and leisure events. With the "beautiful game" of football being used as as an all powerful "tool" to deliver these important messages. Promoting special awareness & social co-operation in the field of charity and volunteer work, predominantly involving the "multi-cultural" minority percentage of the local community but also beyond, integrating the majority population within the rural boundaries into it's themed aims and goals.

With over a decade's experience of promoting, fundraising, publicity and organisation of these "high profile" event's, it is hoped that the next phase of developments will get the organisation to the "promised land" of a countrywide scaled event's programme in the mould of UEFA'S world famous Champions League programme.

Such an innovative, forward thinking project will no doubt continue the education and inspiration of the burgeoning regional multicultural communites, especially and particularly in the current and potentially future hostile climate brought about by diverse integration, along with other negative issues. Young Adult's throughout the area would without a doubt benefit greatly from the opportunities to learn, educate, inspire and promote the virtues of integration and further understanding of each other's backgrounds, religious and cultural beliefs.

Enabling progress in the social/sporting benefits of group activity within and without the local area. Something that would otherwise be totally beyond the reach of those underpriviledged minorities in the normal confines of the regions grassroots environment..
